Ridgeline Estate Operations is a dedicated estate readiness and settlement partner for estate owners, named executors, individual trustees, and the advisors who serve them — building the foundation before death and driving the full settlement process after, so nothing falls through the cracks and no one carries it alone.
When someone dies with a significant estate, every professional has a defined role. But no single professional owns the full process.
The executor is expected to coordinate everything — while grieving, while figuring it out for the first time, while managing the rest of their life.
Legal guidance — ensures estate is legally compliant and protected. Addresses key legal & estate tax filings and issues as they arise. Focused on legal determinations — not operational coordination.
Tax compliance and filings — files all tax obligations accurately, on time, and with optimal outcomes. Executes filings and tax strategy — not managing the process.
Financial guidance — protects and manages estate investments throughout the settlement process. Not structured for operational execution.
Expected to drive and coordinate everything — managing all parties, tasks, and timelines while making every key decision. Often inexperienced and unfamiliar with the estate's details. Always overwhelmed and grieving.
No central plan or coordinated project. No single professional driving the process from start to close. Executor left holding every piece together.
Ridgeline offers two complementary services, each valuable on its own — and together, most powerful. The Blueprint becomes the operational foundation that makes settlement faster, better organized, and significantly less stressful for everyone involved.
You remain the executor — and the decision-maker. Your attorney and CPA focus on what they do best, because everything is organized before it reaches them. Ridgeline handles the rest.
Estate settlement unfolds across six phases. Ridgeline drives every phase — organizing, coordinating, and executing from activation through final distribution. Whether you engage pre-death through the Settlement Blueprint or come to us at activation, the same structured process guides your estate to close.
The milestones below represent key phases in a highly detailed process. Each engagement involves hundreds of individual steps, decisions, and coordination touchpoints — all driven by your Estate Navigator, and many in close coordination with your attorney, CPA, and financial advisors.
Estate settlement is one of the most operationally demanding moments a client family will face — and one of the highest-risk moments for an advisory relationship. Ridgeline gives financial advisors a dedicated operational partner to extend their service offering, deepen client relationships, and remain present at the moments that matter most.
Ridgeline serves estate owners preparing ahead, the executor or trustee at the center of settlement, and the professional advisors who work alongside them and their families.
You've built something significant. The Settlement Blueprint gives your executor the foundation they need before the moment arrives. Ridgeline's Settlement Management gives you peace of mind that the people you trust will have the operational support they deserve.
You've been named to manage a significant estate — often as a family member or close friend, often for the first time, always while grieving. Ridgeline can help take the operational burden off your shoulders so you can focus on decisions, not logistics. A dedicated Estate Navigator drives the process from day one, decisions are consolidated and presented clearly, and you always know exactly where things stand. You remain in full control — without carrying it alone.
Ridgeline handles the operational layer — institutional coordination, document and data consolidation, asset management, and end-to-end process coordination — so you can focus on what you do best. All legal determinations and tax advice remain exclusively yours; fiduciary boundaries are reinforced throughout. Your clients arrive organized, and your engagements run cleaner and faster.
Ridgeline was founded by Andy Sheehan, who spent over two decades at Experian and Mastercard building businesses sharing a common purpose: take something overwhelming and make it navigable. Mortgage underwriting, car buying, small business payments, credit score improvement — complex, high-stakes processes that families and businesses deserved to have simplified.
The idea for Ridgeline came from lived experience. When Andy and his wife navigated the settlement of her mother's estate, they found themselves surrounded by capable professionals — and yet somehow still felt on their own. Each advisor played their part. No one owned the full picture. The weight fell entirely on the family. And in hindsight, even just a few more hours of preparation in advance would have made everything that followed dramatically easier. That insight became the Settlement Blueprint.
Ridgeline pairs genuine human guidance with modern, secure technology — because families navigating significant estates deserve both.
The moment someone is named executor, the weight of it lands immediately. Ridgeline is built to help carry that weight.
We're building the team. If you have a background in estate or trust administration and are motivated to raise the bar for how executors are supported through the process, we'd like to hear from you.
